Storyvault was built by someone who almost lost their family's story — and couldn't let that happen to yours.
A note from our founder
Founder & Creative Director, Storyvault
Emma Hartley spent twelve years as a documentary filmmaker at the BBC, telling the stories of remarkable people. But when her grandmother passed away in 2019 without ever being properly interviewed — her memories of wartime London, of raising four children alone, of a love story that spanned six decades — Emma realised that the most important stories were the ones never being told.
She built Storyvault to fix that.
Today, Storyvault uses AI and cinematic craft to turn ordinary lives into extraordinary archives — beautifully designed digital biographies, family films, and founder stories that last for generations.
Emma believes everyone has a story worth preserving. Not just the famous. Not just the successful. Everyone.
Our mission
“We take the scattered fragments of a life — the photos in boxes, the voice memos, the WhatsApp threads — and turn them into something permanent. Something beautiful. Something that lasts.”
We didn't build another content tool. We built a service that genuinely cares about what it preserves.
AI drafts, our editors craft. Every story is reviewed by a real person before delivery — so what you receive feels warm, considered, and genuinely yours.
We never share, sell, or use your content for training. Full encryption. Full privacy. Your memories are handled with the care they deserve.
Digital archives and cinematic films — formats designed to be passed down for generations, not just viewed once and forgotten.
